Sol og Strand is seeking a 1-year temporary position as a holiday advisor for the office in Nykøbing Sjælland

So we are currently looking for a new holiday advisor on a 1-year temporary position, who together with our current 3 holiday advisors, will ensure great experiences for our guests, owners and employees.

Welcome to Sol og Strand Feriehusudlejning We were established in 1979 by the married couple Margit and Kjeld Andersen and today are one of the largest players in the Danish holiday home sector. Today Sol og Strand is owned by a foundation that supports charitable purposes and local rooting – holidays with a good heart.

Play an important role for our service staff, homeowners and guests As a holiday advisor you help create the framework for good experiences for our guests and homeowners – always in collaboration with the rest of the team at the agency.

A prerequisite for this experience is that the preparation of the houses is planned down to the smallest detail, that our service staff who clean the houses are highly motivated and that the guests are well informed. And that’s where you come in. Your main tasks are to:

• advise and guide holiday guests and summer house owners – both at the counter, by phone and by email
• perform administrative and operations-oriented tasks in relation to rental and servicing of holiday guests and summer house owners
• make personal contact with guests before their stay to ensure that they feel well prepared for the holiday – part of our special heart service
• create and share small glimpses of everyday life at the office on our social media, so guests and homeowners can follow the life behind the scenes with us

The position is a job with a shift schedule, and there will be a fair amount of weekend work in peak season, while in the off-season there is weekend work every 4-6 weeks. We of course take your wishes and needs into account. In addition you should be prepared for more working hours in peak season. In return you will have the opportunity to take time off at other times of the year.

Attractive employee benefits and discount agreements Based on qualifications and experience, the salary is between 24,000-28,000 DKK for a full-time position. The position is however not necessarily full-time, and can therefore be a part-time position if the right match is found.

Strong service mindset and planning enthusiast We imagine that you have experience with customer service, perhaps within tourism – but we also very much welcome you if you have experience with service and administration. It may also be that you are finishing your studies, as long as you have a flair for administration, planning and a strong service mindset.

• talk and write Danish, as well as command German and English, since it is important that you can communicate with our guests both in writing and spoken
• have a driver's license and be used to using Microsoft Office.
