Solbjergskolen seeks Danish and English teacher for the middle grades

Solbjerg School is seeking a skilled teacher who will help create a school where both students and adults thrive, develop, and succeed together.

Solbjerg School is a large and well-functioning school in the southern part of Aarhus Municipality with about 900 curious students and a growing student population. We work purposefully to create participation opportunities for all children – among other things through co-teaching in all classes and a close, professional collaboration.

We are seeking a professionally skilled and engaged Danish and English teacher for the middle grades.

• Has a major in Danish and English – and preferably HDS.
• Has strong didactic and pedagogical competences, which are translated into actions that support all students.
• Works in a structured and visually supportive manner in your teaching.
• Is engaged, reflective and ready to engage in a close, binding collaboration with colleagues and mentors.
• Creates the framework for an open, honest and trusting collaboration with parents.
• Contributes positively to the community and the school's continued development.

This is a permanent full-time position from 1 November or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination takes place after negotiations with the legally entitled trade union based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement which can form the basis for salary determination
