The training program – how to do it

• The training starts with basic course 2 , which you must apply for via optagelse.dk and choose between school stays at Randers Social- and Health School, SOSU East Jutland Aarhus or SOSU East Jutland Silkeborg.
• If you are over 25 years old, you can be employed with us from 1 February 2027 after an interview with us and with an acceptance letter from your chosen SOSU school.
• If you are under 25 years old, you must undertake basic course 2 from 1 September 2026 or 1 February 2027 (where you can apply for student grants), and thereafter you can apply for employment on the main course from 1 February 2027 or 28 June 2027

Practical information

• Duration of training: about 3 years and 3 months including basic course 2.
• Working hours: 37 hours per week.
• Salary: If you are over 25 years old, you will receive an adult apprentice wage regardless of previous work experience.
• Digitization and welfare technology: You have the opportunity to specialize in the direction SOSU assistant trainee Digitech .
• Favrskov Municipality is committed to primarily offering employment to students residing in Favrskov Municipality.
• Valid work and residence permit: If you are not Danish citizen, you must have a valid permit throughout the training program.
