Our expectations of you

In 7-Eleven the customer is our top boss and always has first priority.

As deputy store manager you are the store manager's right hand and your primary task is to boost sales, create a good atmosphere for customers and ensure an always neat and inviting store.

You must thrive with unforeseen challenges and be eager to go the extra mile when needed, i.e. be the one wearing the leading jersey so that it becomes fun to be both customer and employee in the store – we want it to be fun and profitable .

As a person it is important that you can work in a structured and independent way, as in this job you will work alone most of the time. We would very much like you to have several years of experience from retail or a similar position, but it is not a requirement.

Responsible for the store's operations

You have, in close collaboration with the store manager, the responsibility for the store and the daily operations, including:

• Achieve the daily and monthly sales targets and budgets
• Ordering of goods
• Receiving and replenishment of goods
• Order and structure in the warehouse and office
• Preparation of food
• Compliance with the store's self-check program
• Cleaning routines in the store are systematized
• Execution of campaigns according to the given deadlines
• Daily follow-up and adherence to the depreciation budget
• Actively participate in status meetings with focus on optimizing shrink results
• Contribute to compliance with internal guidelines
• Active participation in and around the store's events is expected
• Diverse ad hoc in a dynamic everyday life

The position is based on a 2-week period: Monday-Friday from 08:00 – 16:00, as well as follow-up work every third weekend. We are open 365 days a year, and Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve thus rotate.

Salary and employment terms are regulated by the store collective agreement as well as special provisions by agreement with HK Handel.
