Warehouse Sous-Chef for Nailster in Hørning

Nailster is looking for a warehouse sous-chef who can become the warehouse manager's right hand and help ensure an efficient, structured and well-functioning warehouse operation at our warehouse in Hørning.

Your role

As a warehouse sous-chef you will have a central and very hands-on role in daily operations.

You will be the warehouse manager's deputy and closest sparring partner and must be able to take responsibility for warehouse operations when the warehouse manager is not present.

At the same time, it is important that you are not the type to lead from the sidelines. You need to be visible in the operations, know the processes and be ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Your main areas of responsibility will include, among others

• To be the warehouse manager's right hand and deputy
• To plan, prioritize and coordinate daily operations
• To ensure that today’s tasks, deadlines and objectives are met
• To allocate tasks and create clear direction for the warehouse team
• To ensure an efficient flow from goods receipt to finished customer order
• To follow up on quality, productivity and efficiency
• To identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
• To actively work with lean, optimization and smarter work processes
• To ensure a high standard for order, cleanliness and housekeeping in the warehouse
• To assist with training and development of employees
• To take responsibility and make decisions in daily operations
• To lead from the front and actively participate in the work when the situation requires

Working hours

This is a full-time position.

The working hours are typically on weekdays between 07:00 and 18:00 .

As part of the warehouse management, we also expect a certain level of flexibility. In particularly busy periods there may be longer days and occasional weekend shifts throughout the year.
