Specialists / doctors with extensive clinical experience sought for short-term positions in Region Disko Do you have the opportunity to go at short notice for a few weeks? Then you may be able to help in Region Disko. We are looking for doctors in:

• Qeqertarsuaq from 23 November to 17 December 2026, this position is on-call free
• Qasigiannguit from 3 December 2026 to January / February 2027
• Aasiaat from 1 December 2026

As a doctor in Aasiaat you will have ward rounds, outpatient care and shifts at Aasiaat Hospital. We have a large outpatient function, where we handle general practice tasks for the town’s approx. 3,000 inhabitants. We also do this in the rural health service in an area of about 1,500 inhabitants in Region Disko with video consultations and visits to the small villages twice a year.

As a doctor in Qeqertarsuaq and Qasigiannguit you are the town’s general medical doctor, without on-call. There are the same opportunities for collaboration with the specialists in Nuuk as at the regional hospitals.

We have 17 beds and a patient hotel.

We have close cooperation with Queen Ingrids Hospital, in Nuuk, regarding patient pathways.We work in good physical surroundings, and have a good working environment where we collaborate to use our competencies optimally in everyday work.You will work daytime hours 08:00 - 16:00, and in addition in Aasiaat you have on-call from home about 4-7 times per month.Our EHR is Cosmic. You will be trained in this if you have not worked with it before.The Greenlandic health service is bilingual; Danish and Greenlandic. We offer:

We are looking for you who

• Are a specialist or a doctor with extensive clinical experience, and Danish authorization.
• Can work in a TEAM around the patients
• Preferably have gynecological experience and/or experience with ultrasound in the clinic.
• Have good communication and understanding of cultural differences.
