Specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry – 1-4 days and flexible calendar

At the Institute for Mental Health we are seeking a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry for our clinics in Aarhus and Hellerup.

You can work 1, 2, 3 or 4 days a week and you have great influence on both the calendar, the organization of the work day and the number of patient cases.

About the clinics

We are seeking a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry for both Aarhus and Hellerup. You will be attached to the clinic you apply to, and it is not a prerequisite that you work at both locations.

The clinic in Aarhus has good access and its own consultation room. In Hellerup we also have good and professional settings for patient treatment as well as our own consultation room.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary environment consisting of a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist and a medical secretary.

Our patients are primarily referred from insurance and pension companies as well as self-payers. We mainly work with assessment and treatment of ADHD/ADD, stress, anxiety and depression.

Your primary tasks

• Evaluation and treatment of patients with ADHD/ADD, stress, anxiety and depression
• Preparation of documentation including medical records, discharge summaries and relevant certificates
• Possibility to work with a broader spectrum of diagnoses according to interest, particularly among self-payers

We are looking for someone who

• Is a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry with Danish authorization
• Can conduct psychiatric conversations and handle documentation at a high professional level in Danish
• You have experience with assessment and treatment of patients with ADHD/ADD, stress, anxiety and depression
• Are approachable and thrive in multidisciplinary collaboration, including with psychologists
• Can see yourself in a structured and professional collaboration with insurance and pension companies
