Plejecenter Rude Skov is a wonderful home for people with dementia. We are located in fantastic, scenic surroundings that are used actively.

Quality of life is the key word

At Plejecenter Rude Skov there are 45 residents (2 houses) with different care needs. We place emphasis on each resident's quality of life through good relationships, security in everyday life, and activities. They should have the best possible end of life here with us.

It is about supporting/guiding/structuring each resident's resources so that, based on their needs, they are as involved as possible in their daily life. We shall create joy of life, security and well-being around them, so they feel seen, heard and understood.

It is important to have a good collaboration with their families and involve them as much as possible. It is often very difficult to be a relative and see the changes that occur with their loved one, and here we as employees and leaders play an important role. We shall support/guide them in how to create the best moments together.

We work with early detection and triaging to ensure the best possible well-being for the residents.

Your tasks are

That you support the residents physically and psychologically in daily challenges, so they feel valued as human beings.

You shall help, support and guide the residents with what they can no longer do themselves, including personal care, eating, laundry and tidying their home, as well as planning activities that have meaning for the residents.

To engage in collaboration with colleagues in an appreciative manner so that we can develop together.

To ensure continuity of care you must be able to document in Danish in KMD Nexus.

Your personal and professional profile

Trained social- and health care assistant or social- and health helper

• You should be good at creating an environment that provides calm/structure/well-being for the individual resident.
• You should be able to read/respond to the individual resident's behavior
• You should acknowledge and value each resident
• That you are engaged, caring, patient and positive
• That you contribute to maintaining the good working environment
• That you speak, understand, write and read good Danish, as Danish is our working language

New hires

We place emphasis on a good introduction and have developed an onboarding program, which will be adapted to your experience and competencies.

We are open to how many hours you wish to work. There is a weekend shift every 3rd weekend.

Salary according to the collective agreement
