SSA or SSH for evening shift in the dementia unit at Solgården

Calm and pedagogical social- and health care assistant or social- and health care helper for evening shifts in the dementia unit.

We are looking for a new colleague for evening shifts as of December 1, 2026 or by agreement.

You will as our new evening shift colleague be part of a rotation with a fixed weekend shift every other weekend.

Who are we in Egen?

Department Egen is a small autonomous part of the Care Center Solgården, and a specialized and well-functioning home for our 14 residents with dementia. Here we Take care to create a safe home in cozy surroundings. No two days are alike, but we strive every day to create good moments for our residents, where they experience security and good times in daily life.

We work from Tom Kitwood’s person-centered care, and the individual resident's life story, resources, wishes and needs are the starting point for our work and the daily care, activity and nursing.

We are looking for you, who

• have a high dementia professional standard and enjoy getting to the core with the residents and base your work on that.
• like solving the small “tasks” that mean so much to our residents.
• appreciate both stable and complex care and nursing tasks.
• see collaboration with the residents’ relatives as a value and resource in everyday life.
• are independent, but also value close interdisciplinary collaboration around the citizen.
• naturally possess calm, patience and conscientiousness.
• prioritize professional collaboration with your colleagues.
• see the social community as a strength in collegial collaboration.
• see everyday life, the seasons and their changes as a great value in daily life and enjoy safeguarding it together with our residents.
• possibly have a creative/active side.
• want to learn and develop in our daily work to make a difference for people with dementia.
