About the education

• Start: Basic training week 6 2027
• Main training: Starts week 31 2027
• School: Social and Health School in Aabenraa
• Apprenticeship: Aabenraa Municipality - in nursing homes and home care
• Working hours: 37 hours per week
• Duration of the education: 1 year and 7 months

Admission requirements

Passed Danish and mathematics at G level (equivalent to the 9th grade final exam).

• Apply for admission to the basic training 2 via www.optagelse.dk
• Apply for an apprenticeship with Aabenraa Municipality via the application link and attach the following:
• Certificate of Danish and mathematics at G level
• Certificates for any other education if relevant
• Real competence assessment (RKV) if you are 25+
• Residence and work permit (if you come from a non-EU/Schengen country)

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment are in accordance with applicable rules and collective agreement.

You do not have to submit documentation for adult pay in advance. We will contact you in the employment process when we need it.
