We are looking for you who have the following wishes for your coming workplace

· Wish to work in a professional environment where we have expectations of each other

Brief about the residents living at Stenumgård

There are currently 6 residents living at Stenumgård.

They have autism spectrum disorders. The residents also all have a permanently significantly reduced mental functioning, etc.

The facility is aimed at residents who have a pervasive need for support around the clock.

The residents at Stenumgård have different support needs, so the tasks for each resident will vary, but for all residents the work with structure, predictability and recognizability is essential.

There is currently no mobility work at Stenumgård.

There may be physically outwardly aggressive behavior from some residents. For example pulling hair, pulling clothes, throwing objects, hitting, kicking, pushing, and there may be a bite from a single resident.

We work preventively and de-escalating, with follow-up care after violent episodes.

At Stenumgård you will work with all residents. In addition, you will be part of a small team around one resident, where you will have one or two colleagues to work professionally and structurally with the concrete order goals, structure plans, companionship descriptions, etc.

Your professional task in collaboration with the individual resident

The primary task is to support the residents in a good daily rhythm, a structured and predictable everyday life, and to meet the arising needs.

One follows the individual resident's daily rhythm. Including support to get up in the morning, participate in interaction and activities during the day.

To view the individual resident from a holistic perspective, including there is ongoing collaboration with the district's nurse regarding health-related tasks.

There is also a substantial motivation work in interaction with the residents, especially with two of the younger residents.

Preventive work is carried out on the residents' well-being levels here with a focus on LA2U in the development of the daily structure, in cooperation with the individual resident.

There are very few tasks related to support for personal hygiene among the residents – mostly verbal guidance/instruction is needed.

We require a high degree of professional observation, reflection, documentation, as well as willingness and desire for close collaboration with the residents, colleagues, management and external partners.

We work with an appreciative approach, based on the methods KRAP, ASK (augmentative and alternative communication), SIKK and risk assessment. In the autumn of 2026 all employees will receive 4 days of training in LA2U.

Based on the intake of residents there are several vacant positions. The positions are initially 37 hours – part-time requests can be accommodated

Definition of our core task

"In the disability sector we collaborate with the citizen to create a safe, homely and

development-oriented environment. We start from the individual's needs, wishes and dreams, so the citizen is supported to be an actor in their own life."

This is always our shared focus and the essence of our work and collaboration.
