At Stavnsholtskolen in Farum we are seeking a teacher for a full-time position in the Child Environment, which includes 1st–4th grade. The position includes mathematics in 1st grade as well as physical education and preferably music in the Child Environment. You will become part of the team around 1st grade and participate in class teacher duties, joint activities and collaboration with the parents. We would also like to hear about your other teaching subjects and competencies.

Professionalism and participation

We are looking for a teacher who can create varied teaching with clear boundaries and a focus on children's different starting points. In mathematics you should give children the opportunity to explore, practice and gain confidence in the subject. In physical education and music you should create teaching where children experience joy in moving, expressing themselves and being part of a community. You collaborate with teachers and pedagogues about the teaching and about creating a safe and coherent everyday life for the children.

• are teacher trained and have teaching competencies in mathematics, physical education and music (or equivalent qualifications)
• want to work with children in 1st–4th grade
• can create clear boundaries, structure and good relationships with children with different starting points
• want a committed team collaboration and share both what works and what is difficult
• see parents as important partners
• are curious about your own practice and want to develop it together with others.

You can be newly qualified or experienced. We value your professionalism, your engagement and your desire to develop the teaching together with others.

We offer

You will have a permanent assignment to the team for 1st grade and colleagues to plan and develop the teaching together with. You also participate in collaboration across the Child Environment and have a nearest supervisor with whom you can discuss your daily life and your tasks. The concrete subject and task distribution is determined based on the school's needs and your competencies.

Salary and employment
