Stenslundcentret is seeking an evening shift position

Who are we?

Stenslundcentret is a nursing home located in Odder, surrounded by both Odder Gymnasium, a kindergarten and an activity center for living and employment. We are a nursing home with space for 84 residents distributed in smaller teams. We embrace a wide range of diseases among the elderly residents, but most of our residents live with dementia or cognitive challenges. We place great emphasis on the lived life, and the activities that come with it.

Stenslundcentret is a workplace where interdisciplinarity and person-centred care are keywords in the care we provide to the residents who live with us. We place a strong emphasis on it being the residents' own home, in which they live, and we therefore work purposefully to create the good and safe everyday life – for residents, relatives and our staff.

We are seeking one employee, as one of our evening shifts is retiring. We are looking for you who are passionate about working with the elderly population, and who will help support our slogan: ” Professionalism in the hands, presence in the heart, the person in focus”

Our expectations of you

• You are trained as a Social and Health Care Helper or Social and Health Care Assistant
• You primarily work in the evening shift, where start times are either 14:00 or 15:00
• You work every other weekend in the evening shift, and alternately Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
• You have the desire/interest to work with elderly residents
• You are good at reading, empathising with and meeting other people's feelings and needs
• You always take an individual starting point and work in a person-centred approach
• You think in possibilities, see different angles in task solving and want to make a difference every day
• You actively contribute to the professional and social community
