Stenslundcentret seeks a social- and health-care helper or social- and health-care assistant for a combined position with a partial role as a shift planner

Are you sharp at planning and structure, and are you motivated by getting complex shift plans to come together in a higher unity? Do you also understand that everyday life at a nursing home can be unpredictable, and that sometimes new solutions must be found at short notice? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

Stenslundcentret hires a social and health helper or social and health assistant for a combined position with partial function as a shift planner.

The position is composed so you work one week as a shift planner and one week out in the units, which provides a good balance between administrative tasks and the close contact with the residents. We believe that the close attachment to practice creates the best conditions for planning and coordinating everyday life.

Your tasks

In the shift planner weeks

• Development and maintenance of shift plans
• Coordination of shift coverage in case of sickness, holidays and other absence
• Close collaboration with management and staff on staffing and resources
• Ensure a stable and appropriate operation through good planning

In the weeks when you are out in the units

• Actively participate in care and the well-being of the residents
• Contribute to high professional quality and a good daily life for the residents, e.g. for activities or triage
• Become a natural part of the team around the residents
• If you are an assistant you will be responsible for some of the residents’ care pathways, and if you are a helper you will be attached as the contact person for some of the residents

We are looking for you who

• Are educated social and health helper or social and health assistant
• Have interest in or experience with shift planning
• Are structured, responsible and have a good overview
• Are flexible and solution-oriented when plans change
• Thrive with both administrative tasks and working close to the residents

The position includes weekend work every third weekend. You will have to arrive at 6:30 on some days in the week where you are the shift planner.
