We are looking for up to 3 student assistants for the Center for Research Analysis (CFA), Department of Political Science, Aarhus University.

You will as a student assistant be attached to a range of different projects, e.g., evaluations or research projects within CFA's area, and typical tasks will include desk research, data processing, help with coordinating events, transcription, coding of data material, and various ad hoc tasks.

We expect that you are thorough and can work independently and disciplinely, and can communicate both in writing and orally in English and Danish. Interest in and experience with qualitative or quantitative methods are an advantage, but not required.

Center for Research Analysis is part of the Department of Political Science at Aarhus University. CFA works with understanding research and its relation to innovation, society and central societal challenges as well as how policy can promote research and its positive impact. Through research, education and research-based advisory services to public and private actors, CFA contributes to theoretical and empirical development within research, innovation and higher education policy.

With around 120 scientific staff and 50 PhD students, the Department of Political Science is among Europe’s largest institutes within political science. The department covers a broad range of research areas and methodological approaches and focuses on societal issues in the national and international political arena.

The weekly working hours are on average about 10 hours, and the place of work is Bartholins Allé 7, 8000 Aarhus C.

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed under the general agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Public Employees Organization – The Public Sector Agreement (OAO-S General Agreement) as well as the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK).
