Student job: Business Development Consultant for enterprise SaaS

Who is Cand?

The internship

You will become a central part of the sales team and report directly to the commercial leader, who himself has many years of experience in the role and sits close by in daily life. The special thing about the role is that you don't only sit with the phone. About one third of the time is spent on research, preparation and analysis: which companies resemble those that convert best, who are the stakeholders, and how do we support outreach with content and advertising. You will also have the opportunity to participate in customer meetings.

The role suits you who are curious about technology, can express yourself sharply, and have the patience to build relationships over multiple conversations. You must be able to interact as well with a marketing director as with an IT manager.

Tasks

• Systematic telephone outreach to companies at management level
• Research and identification of the right stakeholders in marketing and IT
• Booking and handing over of qualified meetings
• Participation in customer meetings
• Ongoing pipeline management and follow-up in HubSpot
• Analysis of which company and person types convert best
• Support for Google Ads campaigns and lead quality
• Support of social selling on LinkedIn — content and follow-up

The company

Our partner is a Danish software company that delivers an enterprise SaaS solution built on Google Cloud. The company has recently moved into new premises together with an owner group in the same industry, which provides a strong professional environment across several teams.

The sales team is small, tight and experienced, and you will work directly with the commercial leadership. The role provides a solid foundation for a career in enterprise sales, business development or commercial tech, and you gain concrete experience with the entire sales process from first touch to closed meeting.
