About the job: We are looking for a substance abuse counselor for a maternity leave cover of 32-37 hours per week, starting December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible. You will become part of a good team that works with citizens in substitution treatment.

Your tasks

• To be the go-to present counselor for the citizens
• To go the extra mile for the citizen
• To motivate for treatment and to be a responsible facilitator in ensuring that the treatment plan is planned and followed

• Has insight into and understanding of psychiatry and ADHD and the social and psychological challenges it brings.

Who you are on paper

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in the social or health field (e.g., nurse, educator or social worker)
• Your CV shows experience from the substance abuse area
• You have good command of documentation

About FKRC: Frederiksberg Municipality’s Substance Abuse Center consists of three multidisciplinary teams with a total of 29 employees. We work from a recovery- and rehabilitative approach and collaborate closely with the citizens, relatives, internal and external partners.
