Substitute sought for 8-year-old boy in Haarby

Are you passionate about creating safety and good moments for a child who needs a little extra support? Do you have energy, presence and a desire to make a very concrete difference in everyday life for a 5-year-old boy and his family? Then it might be you we’re looking for!

Assens Municipality is seeking a sweet, calm and caring substitute for a lovely, energetic 8-year-old boy who loves gaming and football. The family lives in Haarby.

About you We are looking for someone who is patient, present and caring, and who loves listening to stories about gaming. You who perhaps would like to play football occasionally, and you who are passionate about making a positive difference in a little boy’s everyday life.

It is an advantage if you have experience with children and with supporting children in regulation. But the most important thing is that you meet him with calm, understanding and warmth.

About the job Working hours on weekdays from approx. 14:15–15:30/15:45.

The task mainly consists of

• welcome him when he comes home from school
• help him settle into the home and land after the school day
• help with getting a bit of food
• support him in finding calm and possibly help with regulation if he needs it
• create a safe and calm transition from school to home

You must be over 18 years old, and it is important that you are calm, caring and responsible.
