Substitute Teacher for Vorbasse School

We are seeking starting in mid-January a maternity leave substitute for our lower primary. We need a teacher who can teach in mathematics, science/technology, physical education and swimming and also take on shared class teacher duties in 1st grade.

The working hours are 37 hours per week.

As a teacher at Vorbasse School you will be part of a development-oriented staff, where in teams you work closely together to promote all students' learning and well-being. There is a strong focus on developing the teaching together and we work across all year groups with learning through play - in some periods in project-based teaching activities.

We expect that you

• Are a trained teacher.
• Create good relationships and are passionate about promoting both academic and social well-being.
• Practice clear and motivating classroom management.
• Are capable of planning teaching sequences with variation and opportunities for participation for all pupils.
• Have an interest in playful approaches to learning.

Vorbasse School is a single-track school with approximately 180 pupils in 0–9th grade. The school is located in an active rural community, where it forms an important part of the local community. There are good physical facilities and a close collaboration with the town's early childcare and after-school center as well as the town's associations.
