About the job

Do you want to contribute to moving professional development and make a noticeable difference for both employees and citizens? Then you may be the person we are looking for as our new supervisor.

Be part of a rethinking of the supervision task

The Health, Care and Prevention Administration has established a specialized supervision team as a strategic effort to strengthen professionalism and create a culture where learning, reflection and development are a natural part of daily life.

The team is anchored in the Brain Injury Center, but works broadly across the department. Now we are expanding the effort and are looking for a supervisor for the disability area (congenital conditions). Supervision takes place for workplaces across the Odense Municipality, which is why you must have your own car and driver's license and be flexible regarding meeting the workplaces. It is precisely the large interface that supervisor for the schizophrenia track and for the acquired brain injury track, Maria, highlights about the job:

"The best thing about my work is the interface with the workplaces. I enjoy visiting the different workplaces and teams with a focus on supporting a space for reflection, where employees listen to each other and together find a path in their shared task. With supervision we bring people together around the task in a different way than at a regular meeting."

Your role - more than supervision

As a supervisor you become a key person in both creating learning and reflection for the employee groups that receive supervision, but also in strengthening the organization's professionalism and learning culture. As a supervisor you contribute to the organization learning from practice and translating experiences into better solutions. You will thus have the opportunity to help build a new offering that has great significance for the quality across the entire administration. Your work will form the basis for organizational learning that we will build on for many years to come.

Who are you?

There can be many paths into this position, but it is a requirement that you are educated and have solid experience as a supervisor - either through further training, therapeutic competencies or other relevant professional specialization. You must also have experience supervising the specialized social field. Your professionalism is naturally essential, but equally your collegial and human qualities. Supervisor Maria values a work environment where you can get along with your colleagues::

"A new colleague should be someone who is willing to laugh. We often encounter complex situations, so it is important that we can also create a space together where we can vent and find lightness in the midst of the serious."

It is therefore important that you are curious both about the supervision task, methods and the people you meet in practice. There are not always simple answers, so you must be able to accept that practice is changeable and be able to create a safe space in this.

Your daily life as a supervisor

In the Brain Injury Center you become part of an experienced staff group of different professional backgrounds who spar with each other.

Each institution receives supervision 2-6 times a year in sessions of three hours.

We naturally supervise our own supervision to offer our employees the same support and sparring opportunities that we work with ourselves.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. The expected salary level will be stated before a potential interview and depends on experience and qualifications. The position is planned to start on January 1, 2027.
