Consultant with in-depth knowledge of natural science in the upper secondary education sector

Astra seeks a professionally strong and development-oriented consultant with an in-depth knowledge of natural science in the upper secondary education sector. You will become part of a team that will ensure progress in our existing initiatives in the area and develop new initiatives across the country.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan network meetings for natural science coordinators (e.g., assemble the program for the meetings, communicate with meeting participants, recruit speakers)
• Collect and analyze knowledge that can be translated into activities targeted at the upper secondary education programmes
• Participate in refining activities and initiatives
• Participate in other tasks related to the development of teaching in the natural science subjects

The ideal applicant for the position has the following competences

• A relevant higher education degree
• A strong development mindset
• In-depth knowledge of teaching in the natural science subjects at the upper secondary education level
• Strong analytical skills
• Is articulate in speech and writing
• Is good at collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Is well-organized and enjoys new challenges

This is a temporary position where you will help identify where Astra can contribute to strengthening natural science teaching in the upper secondary education and develop new initiatives. You will join a strong professional team working with programs, partnerships and didactic guidance in the natural sciences in an inspiring work environment, with skilled colleagues and a healthy balance between work and leisure.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary is set in accordance with the Circular on the collective agreement for academics in the state on the basis salary progression 4, 5, 6, 8, where grade 4 is 2 years. There is an opportunity to negotiate qualification allowances.

As we have offices at three locations and tasks across Denmark, travel days may occur.

Employment is conditional on a satisfactory child background check, which must be maintained throughout the employment.

The place of employment is our office at Dampfærgevej 27 in Copenhagen and runs from January 1 to June 30, 2027. The position is generally full-time (37 hours/week), but with the possibility of reduced hours/part-time if the right candidate wishes.
