Support a young woman in Brønshøj to have more everyday experiences

Are you keen to create safe frameworks around trips and experiences together with a 23-year-old woman who would like to get out more? Here you get a calm 1:1 task focusing on presence, relationship and activities.

About the task

You will be a steady support for a 23-year-old woman who is calm, smiling and happy to experience new people and places. She has for a longer period been very at home and needs support and companionship to get out more and have more experiences in daily life.

She enjoys, among other things, walks, going to the cinema, swimming and trips to, for example, a zoo. Your task is to take the initiative for activities and create a safe framework around the outings. The most important is not where you go, but that you can be a good and safe companion and help her to get going.

The woman is sensitive and needs close contact. She can become uneasy if the distance to you becomes too large, and you must therefore be present and attentive to her need for security.

She has follow after previous illnesses, including balance problems and speech difficulties, and she uses a wheelchair. She also has epilepsy, which is well treated, and she has not had seizures for several years.

Assistance is included for toilet visits at home. When you are out, she uses a diaper.

About you

You are calm, caring and chatty and want to build a safe relationship. You take the initiative for outings and activities, while being attentive to her need for close contact and support.

It is an advantage if you have experience with citizens who use a wheelchair.

Working hours

The position is 6 hours per week divided into

• Two weekdays per week
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

You will become part of a family-owned company with many engaged employees. You have a fixed advisor whom you can always consult. Outside office hours there is always a staffed duty phone, so you are never alone. Salary and pension in accordance with the National Agreement between FOA and Danish Industry. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and workplace accident insurance and health insurance is part of your pension scheme.
