SyBA is seeking on-call substitutes for the Marie Magdalene Residential Facility in Ryomgård

At Botilbud Maria Magdalene we are looking for you who want to help create a meaningful life for our residents.

We are a residential facility for adults with reduced physical/psychological functional ability. The residential facilities are part of Syddjurs Bo- og Aktivitetstilbud (SyBA), which is a unified unit in Syddjurs Municipality with housing and activity offerings distributed around the municipality.

We offer a unique opportunity for you who are resource-oriented and motivated to put your competences to use through daily pedagogical and health-related support in the residents' homes. In some departments personal care will be part of the task. You are also passionate about creating meaningful pedagogical activities and social interaction with our residents and their networks.

It fits into your everyday life that our residents need support both in the morning when they go to activity offerings, as well as especially in the afternoon, evening and weekends year-round.

If you are up for night shifts, we also need substitutes for this.

Target group

• At Kahytten there are six residents. There is also a respite apartment, currently used by several residents.
• At Stuen there are eight residents.
• On the first floor there are eight residents. There is also a respite apartment with rotating residents.
• At Broen, Lanternen and 114A there are 6-8 residents.

You will primarily be attached to one department at the start and offered thorough training. We develop professionally together across departments and are always ready to lend a hand to each other.

Kahytten, Stuen and the first floor

A large part of daily life involves assistance with personal care, which we view as a pedagogical activity. Here, involving the resident's resources, care, ethics and closeness are central elements.

Activities with us include among others music, cake baking, Ramasjang, "slapstick" humor, well-being, walks, car rides in the residential facility's buses, hugs and cooking.

The residents participate in activity offerings from 9.00–15.00 on weekdays, and we work closely together on their development goals.

We take care of, in collaboration with relatives, the residents' daily well-being, health, finances, mail and everything else that belongs to adulthood.

Broen, Lanternen and 114A

Are described as lighter living communities where residents are more self-reliant. The work mainly consists of guidance in ADL functions as well as social interaction and activities outside the home.
