In the evening shift we are looking for a strong professional leader to support our capable employees and ensure continued professional development.

We have many skilled health professionals in the evening shift, all contributing to a healthy and developing work environment. Our employees focus on making a difference for both the citizens and one another.

Each evening we have 2 nurses, 6 social and health care assistants, and many skilled social and health helpers. In addition, each district is covered by a professional leader.

The professional leader

The professional leader has the task of supporting the team in delivering high quality care to the citizens and ensuring professional sparring and knowledge sharing among colleagues. The position contributes to a high professional standard and continuous development in the team through close collaboration with colleagues and partners across disciplines.

As a professional leader you function as a professional lighthouse in the evening shift and help create direction, development and coherence in task execution. You support the implementation of new workflows and quality initiatives, contribute to the introduction and training of new employees, and facilitate professional reflection and learning in everyday life. Additionally, you help ensure high quality in documentation and support employees in complex citizen pathways.

We succeed when citizens experience safe and coherent pathways, employees develop their professionalism, and the quality of care is continuously strengthened.

The role includes 13 hours per week allocated to professional leader tasks, while the remaining working time is used in the citizen-focused effort. The professional leader reports to the district manager.

Conversely we expect that you

• Are educated as a nurse, social and health care assistant, or have another relevant health-related education with several years of experience
• Have high professionalism, are reflective and want to influence the development of Home Health and Nursing
• Can lead from the front and function as a professional lighthouse for your colleagues
• Have an interest in professional leadership, quality assurance and competence development
• Have a high professional level and can handle citizens with complex and multi-faceted issues
• Have strong IT skills and see documentation as an important tool for quality and continuity
• Can work both independently and in close collaboration with others
• Have a desire to work in an organization in development, where your own competence development is at stake
• Are reliable and actively contribute to a good physical and psychosocial work environment
• Hold a driving license, as our visits to citizens take place in our nursing cars

• Fixed evening shift position of 32/35 hours per week – full-time can be negotiated
• Weekend shifts every 2nd or 3rd week

Start 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter .

Salary placement is negotiated between the municipality and the union authorized to negotiate. When offered a position, criminal and child-safeguarding checks will be obtained.

Albertslund Municipality has a smoke-free working time.

Albertslund Municipality supports the full-time effort in accordance with the Tripartite Agreement on Wages and Working Conditions, and the municipality therefore hires predominantly on 37 hours.
