About the job

Do you want to work with outpatient psychiatric care, where independent responsibility and multidisciplinary collaboration go hand in hand?

We are seeking a licensed nurse, an occupational therapist or a physiotherapist with minimum two years of relevant psychiatric experience for our F-ACT team. With us you get the opportunity to apply your professional skills in a varied daily life with patient contact, autonomous treatment work and interdisciplinary collaboration.

About the position

The F-ACT team primarily provides treatment for people with disorders within the schizophrenia spectrum. The treatment is tailored to the individual patient’s needs and can, at times, include more frequent contact, home visits and a more outreach-oriented effort. The team also supports the general area when a patient course requires more intensive treatment than can be offered within the general area’s framework.

You manage your own patient pathways in collaboration with the patient and the responsible physician. At the same time the team has a shared responsibility for the overall patient group. We therefore continuously prioritise efforts according to the patients’ current treatment needs, and you contribute across courses when necessary.

Your tasks include, among others

  • supportive and therapeutic conversations as well as psychoeducation
  • assessment of mental state and somatic follow-up
  • administration of depot medications depending on your professional group and your competencies
  • prevention of relapse and hospitalisations
  • collaboration with relatives and coordination with the municipality, general practitioner, housing facilities and inpatient wards
  • documentation and follow-up on the treatment.

We work recovery-oriented with a basis in the patient’s wishes, resources and goals. The work takes place both in the clinic and in the patients’ homes and local environment.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a minimum of two years of relevant experience from a psychiatric department, community psychiatry or a comparable psychiatric service
  • can establish and maintain professional treatment relationships
  • works independently and in a structured way and can prioritise according to the patients’ needs
  • actively contributes to multidisciplinary collaboration and involves other professional disciplines when relevant
  • has an awareness of the connection between mental, somatic and social conditions
  • documents accurately and takes responsibility for your professional development.

A driver's license is required, and it may be necessary to provide your own car , as the position includes home visits and outreach work.

You will become part of an interdisciplinary environment where your professional expertise is integrated into the overall treatment effort.

We offer

  • a structured introduction program and a mentorship scheme
  • regular supervision, professional sparring and interdisciplinary conferences with case discussions
  • opportunity for professional development and competence development
  • a treatment environment where we, among other things, use cognitive and compassion-focused approaches.
