In the Home Care District North in Faxe Municipality we are seeking a nurse who is passionate about good nursing, professional development and presence in the meeting with citizens.

With the upcoming health reform and the development in the municipal health service, there is expected increased focus on basic palliation. This presents new opportunities and professional tasks for municipal nursing.

You do not need to have experience with palliation to apply for the position. If you have experience in the area, that's an advantage, but we place at least as much emphasis on your professional curiosity, your commitment and your desire to learn and develop.

We want to strengthen our palliative efforts and are seeking a nurse who will help develop the professional approach and create good, coherent pathways for citizens and their relatives.

Your role

As a nurse you will have clinical leadership in the team. You contribute to creating security, quality and direction – both around the citizens and in collaboration with your colleagues. You will become an important sparring partner and a role model who helps ensure that we succeed as a team.

Your tasks will among other things be to

• Ensure safe, coherent and professionally strong citizen pathways
• Work with both planned and acute nursing tasks in the home and in our nursing clinics
• Participate in triage and interdisciplinary meetings
• Coordinate the nursing in the team
• Contribute to implementation of the upcoming health reform in practice
• Create overview and calm in complex cases together with the citizen, relatives and partners

We work in the care system CURA and document in real time via tablet.

As a new measure we have employed nurses for fixed night shifts, so the number of unfavorable shifts will be limited. We work with a wish plan, so if you have special wishes regarding shifts, weekends or the like, we always try to find a solution.

About the employment

The position is for 37 hours with a maximum of 4 shifts per month, unless you would like more. There is the possibility to adjust the number of hours if it suits you better. Weekend shifts every 4th weekend and few holiday shifts. Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement. Criminal record check and references will be obtained.
