About the job

We are looking for a nurse who will help build a strong team in Local Team Midt. You will have a good opportunity to shape the team with your professional expertise and good collaboration skills.

You will become an important part of the day shift in the nursing and home care in Køge Municipality.

The position is full-time, but we also welcome your preferences for number of hours. You will have a duty every 4th weekend.

We are based at Nørre Boulevard 101 – in the heart of lovely Køge with city life and short distance to train and bus.

Our routes take place both by car and by bike (it is however a requirement that you have a driver's license).

Why should you choose Local Team Midt

  • A fantastic team with plenty of room to grow
  • Induction program tailored to your competencies
  • Focus on both mono- and interdisciplinary sparring

About the job In the day shift you join a fixed interdisciplinary mini-team, working with a focus on holistic care and rehabilitation in task execution. The team takes care of citizens' overall needs within nursing, rehabilitation, training, cleaning as well as care and companionship.

We are moving towards mini-teams becoming self-structuring, and here you as a nurse play an important role in ensuring the right competencies for the right tasks. You will become the primary nurse in your own interdisciplinary mini-team for a geographical area in Køge Midt. Here you will have responsibility for planning and your own work tasks.

Your tasks will include

  • Holistic care based on a preventive and rehabilitative approach for the individual citizen.
  • Instrumental nursing tasks such as medication management, IV treatment, palliation and wound care.
  • Prioritization and handover of tasks within the team, including training of colleagues and professional sparring, so that we use resources sensibly and perform tasks with high professional quality.
  • Clinical decision-making and leadership of simple, acute and complex courses – both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues.

You must be prepared to work very independently at the citizen's home, but you will always have a network around you to seek sparring from.

About Local Team Midt In Local Team Midt we are about 56 employees distributed among social and health helpers, social and health assistants, nurses and therapists. We also train apprentices and students and prioritise learning and professional sparring highly – you should be eager to contribute to this.

With us all professional groups meet in the same place, which gives us a good understanding of each other both collegially and professionally. We have an informal tone, where there is room for humor and a smile.

Who are you It is a requirement that you are a trained nurse with Danish authorization. You may greatly benefit from several years of clinical experience after completing your education.

In addition, our ideal candidate

  • Is trustworthy and invites collaboration and dialogue in a respectful manner with citizens, relatives, colleagues and partners.
  • Can maintain an overview, structure and prioritise – even when situations are acute and everyday life moves quickly.
  • Works independently and dares to make your own professionally qualified decisions.
  • Uses IT: We work in Word, Teams and document in Nexus.

As a colleague it is important that you are empathetic, have a good mood and want to contribute to a good workday for the whole team.

Employment terms and contact The position is in the day shift , but you must be able to take occasional evening and night shifts as needed as part of the acute nursing coverage. These shifts rotate between all municipal local teams – and therefore occur infrequently.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and after negotiation with the bargaining organization.
