System Owners for Customs and Motor

About the job

We are looking for two system owners in the Udviklings- og Forenklingsstyrelsen; one for the Customs area and one for the Motor area.

The offices have the overall product-, supplier- and contract responsibility for the supplier's applications.

As a system owner your primary task will be to contribute to secure, stable and cost-effective operation. The system landscape is complex with many internal and external stakeholders, and you will be responsible for the management of incidents, problems, service requests and changes (ITSM) and at the same time act as a link between the process owner and the IT supplier with tasks related to contract and economy.

You will contribute with knowledge about systems for analyses and risk assessments of scope in projects, and maintenance, support and further development of the systems will be part of your task portfolio together with management of IT suppliers and deliveries. The actual source code is handled by our system supplier, so this will not be among your tasks.

Who are you?

You have solid experience from a similar position or experience from roles such as product owner, system owner, IT/business consultant, system architect or similar. You have knowledge of ITSM operating methods and experience with ITIL (preferably ITIL-certified) - and you are looking for professional development in a complex system landscape, where you want to work broadly and deeply with our systems.

You are analytical, structured and detail-oriented. You have a higher education and experience as a hub between business, IT, suppliers and management. In addition you can show results from larger and/or complex system portfolios.

You have good communication skills, both written and spoken. It would be an advantage if you have project management experience, so coordination and task management among many stakeholders comes naturally to you. Finally, you must thrive in a role with responsibility and cross-functional collaboration, where you proactively are able to quickly familiarize yourself with complex IT-professional and business issues.

You will be employed under the collective agreements applicable for academics in the state (AC), for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT employees (HK) or for Executives etc. (DTS) in the Ministry of Taxation and Growth. The employment area is the Ministry of Taxation and Growth with its associated institutions.

You should be aware that your employment is subject to security clearance and maintaining this security clearance during your employment in the position. If you are already security cleared in another public authority and are offered the position, we want to take over your security clearance from your current workplace, if the conditions for this are met.
