As with many other municipal dental services, we experience a shortage of experienced dentists. Therefore we want to develop our way of working so that we use the total professional expertise in dental care as best as possible for the benefit of both patients and staff.

Our ambition is to train and support dental hygienists and clinical assistants to handle more tasks within their competences and the applicable frameworks. It should create better opportunities for dentists to focus on the tasks that require their special expertise, while also contributing with assessment, sparring and quality assurance.

This is a development process that we will create together. As a professional leader you will play an important role in translating the ambitions into a safe and well-functioning everyday life with clear agreements, relevant training and high quality in patient treatment.

About the position

You will become part of our clinical daily life and at the same time play a central role in the professional development of dental care. In close collaboration with the Chief Dentist and the staff, you will help shape direction, support new workflows and develop cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Carry out clinical dental work.
• Contribute to professional sparring and support colleagues in their clinical daily life.
• Help develop and implement tasks.
• Contribute to training, professional guidance and quality assurance.
• Support a culture where we learn from each other, share knowledge and jointly develop patient pathways.
• Collaborate with the Chief Dentist on professional development and the translation of new ideas into practice.

About us

Faxe Municipal Dental Care is a workplace with many different professional backgrounds and a shared ambition to create good and safe patient pathways. We provide dental care for the municipality's almost 8,000 children and young people as well as tasks within adult dental care. At our shared clinic in Faxe we work with prevention, examinations, treatments, orthodontics, surgery and treatments under sedation and under anesthesia.

Salary and employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
