Teacher for 6th to 9th Grade at Frederiksværk School

We are seeking a teacher who has an eye for students' well-being and development potential as well as academic progression, and who has strong relationship skills.

We imagine that you are passionate about your students' learning and would like to bring teaching out into authentic learning environments, cultivate the practical subjects and find it exciting to think about learning in many ways. At the same time you see it as your task to create participation opportunities for all children. You have a sense of the community in the class and in the school, just as you are curious about your own teaching, and how it is best planned didactically – preferably in close collaboration with colleagues.

We would like a teacher for our grades 6 to 9 section with competences in the natural science subjects, including especially mathematics. If you have competences in teaching English, Danish, cultural subjects or other subjects from the Folkeskole, you are also warmly welcome to apply.

Frederiksværk School has about 400 pupils, and we focus on safeguarding the story of Frederiksværk School as the natural choice for the area’s children, where well-being, community and learning as well as opportunities for participation for the broad child community are at the forefront. We moved in January 2023 into a completely newly built school, where we can enjoy the beautiful buildings and plenty of light and air every day, and we have just gained access to the completely new Enghave Hall, which is located right in the back yard.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Basic salary for the lowest wage grade is 39,293.85 DKK/month excluding pension. In addition, qualification and position supplements can be agreed.
