Teacher for a special education class for students with general learning difficulties

We are seeking a teacher for our special-class program at Endrupskolen in Fredensborg

You must be able to teach and motivate our students at the primary and lower secondary level, primarily in the humanities, but also in several other subjects.

We are looking for an ambitious, curious and engaged teacher who has a ready smile and is focused on noticing everything that works and succeeds. You must recognize the significant importance of relationships for students' academic and socio-emotional development and well-being.

Our students have general learning difficulties or a corresponding functional level. Some students may also have specific needs.

The special-class program is anchored in the public school system, and it is therefore important that you are willing and able to operate at the intersection of teaching, special education and relationship work.

• can differentiate and adapt the teaching academically and pedagogically to the target group
• works across disciplines
• can express themselves clearly and precisely in writing, e.g., in action plans and school statements

• sees collegial sparring and joint development of the special educational environment as important elements of their work
• has a curious and reflective approach to their own and colleagues' practice
• places great emphasis on good and respectful relationships with students, parents and colleagues
• is a positive person with a good sense of humor
