Teacher for a special school as of January 1, 2027 (37 hours per week)

We are looking for a qualified teacher for Harløse School, a special school offering for students of normal intelligence with autism spectrum disorder.

You are an engaged teacher who can light up the students' eyes through well-planned teaching and with a soft heart for students with special needs.

Knowledge about autism is not a prerequisite, as the most important is the desire to work and collaborate in our field. We offer internal courses in understanding autism and various pedagogical tools on an ongoing basis. You will as an employee become part of an ambitious professional community - a school with a good reputation that we all are proud of.

You, together with your teaching colleague in the team, will come to cover all subjects and therefore must be able to cover a reasonably broad range of subjects. It would be an advantage if you can also take on teaching mathematics and English in the upper primary/secondary. The students are taught in all primary school subjects as well as social skills.

Common to all students is that they have special needs which require special consideration and adults with both will, knowledge and the ability to understand them. The students are in classes with 6-9 students, and you will become part of a team with 3 other colleagues – teachers and pedagogues.

You must be prepared to engage in close interdisciplinary collaboration with both team colleagues, management and the guidance team.

Salary and employment terms
