Teacher for special education in Karrebæk

Lille Næstved School, Karrebæk department, is seeking a committed and competent teacher with experience in special pedagogy for our level 2 offering for students with psychosocial and emotional challenges. The position is primarily in upper primary/early secondary with some hours in the middle grades. We are looking for a humanistic profile.

About the offering

• 3 groups: early primary (1st–3rd grade), middle grades (4th–6th grade) and upper primary/early secondary (7th–9th grade)
• 8 students per class with one teacher and one pedagogue

We are looking for a teacher who

• Has experience in differentiated teaching and close collaboration with pedagogues
• Has experience with carrying out Danish final exams
• Has the ability to understand and support students’ initiatives and well-being
• Uses an appreciative language and creates psychological safety
• Focus on good relationships and community
• Is conscious of body language and nonverbal communication
• Supports students' mental well-being through relationship work
• Recognizes mistakes and the ability to repair relationships

About us: Lille Næstved School is a large departmentally structured school on three campuses with about 1,300 students. The Karrebæk department is located in beautiful surroundings close to forest and water. The general department is a single-track from 0th to 6th grade. Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the current collective agreement between KL and the Danish Union of Teachers.
