Do you want to help create learning joy, professional development and strong communities for pupils from 4th to 6th grade, even if it is not a traditional school timetable? Then perhaps you are the colleague we are looking for at Antvorskov School.

We are seeking as of 1. December 2026 or as soon as possible a teacher for the following position

• 5th–6th grade: Danish and one or more of the following subjects: Christianity, History, Science/Technology, Physical Education, possibly English in due course.
• If you additionally have either Music or Craft & Design , you are also very welcome to apply.

About the position

As a teacher at Antvorskov School you will become part of a strong year-group team with a focus on joint preparation, professional sparring and development of learning environments where all pupils have the opportunity to thrive and learn.

Regardless of year group we expect you to be able to

• create safe, structured and motivating learning spaces
• work systematically with classroom management
• collaborate closely with colleagues, pedagogues and parents
• contribute actively to the school's joint pedagogical and didactic development

We are looking for a teacher who

• has strong relationship skills and meets the pupils with recognition
• possesses solid subject and didactic competence
• has experience with or great interest in NEST pedagogy, autism and special pedagogical approaches, as the pedagogical practice in all classes builds on NEST principles
• works inclusively and with differentiated approaches with regard to pupils' different prerequisites
• engages professionally in team collaboration and takes shared responsibility for pupils' well-being and learning
• is curious about their own practice and actively participates in professional sparring and development work

About Antvorskov School

Antvorskov School is Slagelse Municipality's largest public school with about 950 pupils from kindergarten class to 9th grade. We are a 3- to 5-track school with both standard classes, Nest-classes for normally gifted pupils with autism and a special class series for pupils with challenges in social interaction, communication and behavior.
