At Hillerød Day Treatment School we are seeking a teacher with competencies in Danish, English, Physical Education and Home Economics for our upper school team in the Store Dyrehave School department.

You will become part of a school that within the coming year will be gathered in new premises in Alsønderup, and which at the same time is facing a joint competence development program within NUSSA and neuroaffective development psychology, in collaboration with Susan Hart. We are not just looking for a new colleague.

Within the coming year the school's two departments will be gathered in Alsønderup in a newly renovated school with modern teaching environments and new outdoor spaces.

At the same time we are facing a joint competence development program for all staff in collaboration with Susan Hart.

The ambition is to strengthen our shared professional stance and create a clear coherence between competence development, supervision and the daily practice around the children. Susan Hart and her colleagues are also expected to be responsible for future supervision at the school, so that a coherent thread is created between education, supervision and the daily work with the children.

Who are we?

Hillerød Day Treatment School is a day treatment and school provision for children and young people with social, emotional and developmental challenges.

You will be attached to our upper school group in the Store Dyrehave School department, where the pupil group is small, and where there are good opportunities to work relationally and differentially.

Each team consists of about 10 pupils and 5 permanent adults. This enables close collaboration, shared reflection and a strong focus on the individual child.

You will be part of a close and committed collaboration between teachers, educators, psychologist and family therapists around the children.

In addition to teaching you will become the contact person for 1-2 pupils and play an important role in collaborating with their families.

We are ambitious on behalf of the children, but we also believe that humor, helpfulness and strong collegial communities are an important prerequisite for succeeding with the task. We are looking for a teacher who

• has major subject or strong competencies in Danish, English, Physical Education and Home Economics
• is focused on children's learning, well-being and development
• can create clear frameworks while working flexibly
• thrives in close team collaboration
• wants to be an active part of the school's continued development.

Experience from the special education sector is an advantage. However, the most important thing is that you are curious about the children, the relationships and the interdisciplinary collaboration. With us you get

Practical information

Employment: Full time with start as soon as possible.

Salary: According to the applicable collective agreement with DLF plus allowances.
