Teacher sought for Præstegård School, Line S, Kvaglund Department

Line S at Kvaglund School in Esbjerg Municipality is seeking a teacher for a permanent position with commencement on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible. You should have a strong interest in working with children and young people within the special needs field, and be able to participate physically actively in various activities. It is advantageous if you have mathematics and German as part of the specialization. The position is between 32 and 37 hours per week.

Line S is a segregated school offering for students in Esbjerg Municipality. The target group is students from 0th to 9th grade with a combination of severe social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties. There are often complex difficulties as well as students with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, ADHD etc.

These are students who, due to their functioning level and challenges, have not benefited from the offer in a mainstream class. For a student to be offered schooling on Line S, the student must be admitted via the central admissions committee, DUS.

Line S currently has about 110 students aged 6-17 years, distributed across 0-9 grades, and there are currently 23 teachers and 24 pedagogues who work closely in class teams.
