Team Coordinator with Operational Responsibility for Carelink Pleje Odense

Carelink Pleje Fyn is looking for a team coordinator with operations responsibility for our department in Odense.

We are looking for someone who has solid planning experience from home care, and who is motivated by making the daily operations run smoothly in practice. You should be able to produce good shift and route plans, ensure the right staff with the right citizens and plan with focus on stable staff and high continuity. The goal is a daily life where citizens experience safety, quality and home care they can rely on.

You will be responsible for your own team and become a central key person in daily operations. At the same time you become part of an evolving organization, where things move quickly, decision paths are short, and you have great opportunity to shape both your own role and the way we run home care.

About the position

As team coordinator you will be the hub for the daily planning and operations around your team in Odense.

Your primary task is to ensure a stable, efficient and cohesive operation in your area . You must have an overview of staffing, shift plans, routes and citizens' needs and be able to make the necessary operational decisions when daily life changes.

Planning and coordination are a central part of the role. You must therefore have solid experience with planning from home care and be used to getting staffing, routes and citizens' needs to add up – also when the day’s plans change.

You are not alone with the health-related development. At Carelink Pleje Fyn we have health professionals and nurses who support the professional quality and development around the citizens. Your primary focus will be to ensure a stable and well-functioning operation and create the best framework for the staff's work.

The position is full-time and primarily day-time. As part of the role you will also handle the back-up phone on weekdays and weekends according to shift schedule.

Your main tasks

You will, among other things

• ensure good shift and route planning and continuously adjust plans when needs change
• allocate staff and tasks so the right competencies match the citizens' needs
• plan with focus on stable staff, continuity for citizens and good utilization of resources
• handle illness, vacation and acute changes and ensure stable daily operations
• coordinate daily contact with the municipality and be a visible sparring partner for the staff
• contribute to developing workflows and creating an even better and more efficient operation.

We expect that you

• are educated as a social- and health care assistant or nurse
• have experience from home care and solid experience with shift and route planning
• have experience with Nexus and can use the system confidently in daily work
• are strong in allocation and can get citizens' needs, staff competencies and resources to add up
• work in a structured way, keep overview and can make decisions when daily life changes
• communicate clearly and professionally and thrive on taking responsibility for daily operations.

A role with potential to grow

As a starting point you do not have formal managerial responsibility. Instead you will have a large responsibility for the daily operations around your team and freedom to make the necessary decisions within the agreed framework.

There is an opportunity to grow with the role , and for the right candidate the position can over time develop to also include personnel responsibility. How the role develops will depend, among other things, on your experience, competencies and ambitions.
