Team leader wanted for the evening shift at a large sports company near Silkeborg

We are looking for an engaged and structured team leader for the evening shift at a large international sports warehouse near Silkeborg.

About the job

As a team leader you will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of the evening shift. You will be the natural point of contact who ensures that employees know what to do, that tasks are allocated efficiently, and that the day’s work is completed in the proper quality. In the low season the team consists of about 5 permanent employees, while staffing in the peak season is scaled up with temporary workers so the team can grow to 15-20 employees.

You will be part of the daily operations and therefore have a practical role where you both lead, coordinate and lend a hand when needed.

Working hours and start

• Sunday to Thursday 15:00-02:00
• Start as soon as possible.

Your tasks

• Daily leadership and coordination of the evening shift
• Planning and distribution of the daily work tasks
• Responsibility for a team of about 5 permanent employees and up to 15-20 employees in peak season
• Ensure an efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse
• Optimize operations and make the best use of resources
• Actively participate in daily operations, including picking and packing and forklift driving
• Contribute to good wellbeing, strong collaboration and a good team atmosphere.

We imagine that you

• Have experience from warehousing or logistics - preferably from a team leader role
• Have experience with leading or coordinating employees
• Work in a structured way and have a good overview
• Have a valid forklift certificate
• Ideally have experience with WMS and/or AutoStore
• Speak and understand Danish.
