Team Leader for Denmark's most specialized rapid-response team against social dumping.

Do you want to help strengthen the City of Copenhagen's fight against social dumping and develop the city's social sustainability profile in the efforts against social dumping?

The Copenhagen Municipality's rapid-response team against social dumping is a front runner in combating social dumping. The team ensures that suppliers to the municipality and partner municipalities in the Capital Region comply with social clauses on fair wages and working conditions and on training of apprentices. The rapid-response team has high attention from politicians, labor market parties and organizations working for orderly conditions in the Danish labor market.

You will become a professional and leadership front figure

The rapid-response team is now seeking a team leader who will lead the effort and can meet the goals of the ambitious agenda on social sustainability. You will manage 16 dedicated employees with high professionalism and diverse backgrounds, who together constitute a highly specialized team. You will encounter high motivation, professional case handling and time for professional sparring, and you should preserve and develop that further.

As team leader your primary tasks are to

• be the personnel leader for the team's employees and be a role model for good conduct and good results
• participate professionally in the established workflows and interfaces with an eye to the team's professional development
• ensure daily operations with capacity planning, task prioritization, quality and timeliness
• contribute to the well-being of the office and provide the right framework so the team has the right conditions to carry out the tasks

You and the team develop and enforce Copenhagen Municipality's social clauses and simultaneously run The Common Rapid-Response Team against Social Dumping in the Capital Region – a collaboration between 16 municipalities and public institutions. You must both strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration in the organization and draw inspiration from outside so the team stays ahead of a fast-developing agenda.

Together with the office head and the team leader for the office's team for environmentally sustainable procurement you will be part of the office's daily management with a joint responsibility for holistic thinking, knowledge sharing and collaboration. In the management team we complement each other's competencies by coordinating the office's total portfolio of tasks and helping each other through sparring in an open and honest leadership room.

For you this gives a large personal scope to delegate and lead, as you know your mandate and the expectations of when the team is a success. We are generally a workplace with visions and ideas, and you have the ability to follow ideas through, as you take on a special role in building a bridge to the team so ideas become action.

Who are you?

We would like you to have, for example, experience as a team leader from an interest or trade association, a public administration or another workplace with many stakeholders. Your profile also encompasses

• knowledge of the Danish model and the professional legal system
• experience with cooperation with labor market parties and collective agreement interpretation
• ability to make qualified legal assessments

You should also have solid experience with social sustainability, including especially wage and working conditions to be a good and competent professional leader and sparring partner.

Last but not least it is important that you are empathetic and have a natural interest in and curiosity about people. You are capable of creating good relationships both internally and externally.

You will be placed as a chief consultant with personnel responsibility according to the current collective agreement with the City of Copenhagen. We prioritize your professional and personal development so you have the best conditions to succeed in your task.

The position is located in the Center for Finance and Procurement in Corporate Service, part of the Finance Administration. We are housed in a modern office environment at Borups Allé 177. We have busy periods, but generally we want flexible scheduling of working hours, and we have many initiatives to ensure a nice and cosy working environment.
