Tech Lead for the AI Delivery Team – build solutions that make a measurable difference

Do you want to set the technical direction for AI solutions that improve the way we deliver and operate critical systems? And do you want to take responsibility that the solutions also function safely and stably when they are deployed in our on-premise Cloud Native environments?

At Netic we are seeking a tech lead for our new AI delivery team. We will start with concrete workflows where AI can reduce cycle time and rework, increase quality and free up time for our specialists. We expect to operate the solutions we establish in on-premises cloud native environments ourselves. Therefore operations must be considered from the first technical choice.

Take responsibility for the technical direction You will be the technical lead for a team with an AI specialist and a software-/platform engineer. You are responsible for architecture, design, development quality and the suitability of the solutions for production. At the same time you help the team maintain progress in daily work.

Your tasks will include

• Set the technical direction for AI solutions that can be rolled out, monitored, maintained and updated in our on-premises cloud native environments.
• Translate the organization's needs into solutions that can be developed, integrated and operated.
• Ensure quality in design, code, evaluation, security and documentation.
• Work closely with the AI specialist on model selection and evaluation and with the software-/platform engineer on integrations, rollout and monitoring.
• Clarify technical dependencies and help the team to make the tasks come together from investigation to production.
• Contribute to clarifying which AI capabilities can be part of solutions for our customers in the future.

You will be part of the technical work and at the same time create the frame for how the team's various skills can collaborate. People management and the overall prioritization lie with the AI lead, whom you report to.

You already have a solid toolkit We are looking for someone who has experience designing and delivering software solutions in production. You can take responsibility for technical choices, maintain quality along the way and help others solve complex tasks. You do not need to be a specialist in all AI models, but you must be able to lead the development of solutions where AI is a central part.

We also place emphasis on the fact that you

• Software architecture, API design and integrations, for example with OpenAPI, gRPC and event-based communication.
• AI architecture and local model serving, for example with Hugging Face Transformers, vLLM or SGLang.
• AI workflows and retrieval, for example with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Qdrant or pgvector.
• Systematic evaluation and quality assurance of AI solutions, for example with Promptfoo, Ragas or DeepEval.
• Architecture and operations in on-premises cloud native environments with Kubernetes.
• Automated testing, deployment and infrastructure, for example with FluxCD and Terraform.
• Observability, security and access management, for example with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Keycloak and Vault/OpenBao.

You do not need to know all the technologies we end up using. The most important thing is that you can take technical responsibility and build a strong professional collaboration in the team.
