Technical Project Advisor – construction and roofing solutions Eastern Denmark Technically strong profile with commercial drive? Do you want to use your building technology knowledge to advise clients, architects and consulting engineers – and help ensure circular and well-documented roof solutions are considered from the early project phases?

At DERBIGUM DENMARK you will have a central role in Eastern Denmark. Your primary focus will be to visit and build relationships with clients, architects and consultants, where you contribute with technical sparring and help identify and specify the right solutions. At the same time you will work closely with Derbigum’s authorized roofing contractor partners, who are the company’s customers and implement the solutions in practice.

The position is hybrid, and you will have a flexible daily routine between visits to clients, architects and consultants, projects, remote work and Derbigum’s office in Ishøj.

Your role: As Technical Project Advisor you come in early in construction projects and become an important sparring partner for both clients and the designers.

You will need to identify relevant construction projects, build relationships with clients and consulting engineers and through technical advising help ensure that Derbigum’s solutions are integrated and specified early in the projects.

You will among other things

• visit and advise clients, architects and consulting engineers on technical and circular roof solutions
• identify and follow relevant construction projects from early advisory and specification to the concrete solution
• advise on selection and dimensioning of system constructions
• prepare technical details, drawings and descriptions
• review existing roofs and prepare roof reports and renovation proposals
• advise on Circularity, including EPDs and life-cycle assessments, material documentation, service life and sustainability
• work closely with Derbigum’s authorized roofing contractor partners on projects and solutions.

You will have a role where technical advisory, relationships, sustainability and business meet.

Your profile: You likely have a background as a building constructor, building engineer, architect or a corresponding construction-technical education combined with relevant experience in the construction industry.

We especially emphasize that you

• have a solid building-technical understanding and can read drawings and constructions
• preferably have experience in advising clients, architects and designing engineers
• have an interest in roofs, building envelope and construction materials
• preferably have experience with Revit or similar design tools as well as knowledge of relevant specification tools.
• have an interest in or experience with EPD, LCA, material documentation and sustainable construction
• are relationship-building and thrive being out with the market’s professional actors
• work independently and in a structured manner and can prioritise between different projects and opportunities
• have a natural commercial instinct and understand the connection between technical advisory, specification and business.

You do not need to be a classic salesperson. Your strength should be that through professionalism and relationships you can influence projects early and make Derbigum a natural choice.
