About the job

Our technical service team consists of two employees: You are one, and our technical service manager is the other. You will work closely with the management and administration at the school and in the leisure part. The team collaborates in daily operations with the administration, the management and the pedagogical staff, and reports to the school principal as the person in charge of staff.

The team's task is to ensure daily building operation and service, as well as provide well-functioning physical premises for students, staff and leisure users. The job therefore requires good overview, operational expertise and cooperativeness.

About us

At Tingbjerg School and Leisure there are about 600 children and young people. In addition we are around 130 staff. Our school and KKFO are located in Tingbjerg with the address Skolesiden 2 in Brønshøj. Our leisure center is also located in Tingbjerg. We are in the process of a major holistic renovation of the school, and in the future the leisure part will also be rebuilt.

All employees at Tingbjerg School and Leisure work every day with pride to together provide children with the best possible educational and leisure-pedagogical offering. We want with the new technical service team that all the elements involved in maintaining and operating the buildings are part of everyday life, so we collectively focus on creating the best conditions for children and employees.

We value that you

  • have experience with building operation and maintenance from previous or current employment
  • have experience with performing craft tasks and preferably a craft background
  • are flexible and can join the team's tasks as needed
  • participate in the execution of larger events, including some evening events
  • can work both independently and with others
  • enjoy being in a workplace with many happy and active children as well as many different professional groups, including leisure users who use the school's facilities outside school hours
  • are fond of children and can embrace their differences.

We offer

  • an exciting job with good professional and personal development opportunities
  • influence on planning the work in the team
  • a workplace where you are physically active both outdoors and indoors
  • a daily life where your and the team's efforts are appreciated
  • a workplace with diversity, good cooperation relations and room for humor in a busy everyday life
  • contact with a lot of fresh, positive and persistent students
  • a rewarding collaboration with the school's other subject groups and leisure users.

Employment terms

The position is immediately full-time, but can also be a part-time position, e.g., 25-30 hours. We expect you can start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement between FOA and the Children and Youth Administration and within the framework of local salary setting. In connection with the employment we will obtain a child protection and criminal record check and take references. Working hours are planned so that the team together covers morning opening and afternoon rounds.
