Technical support specialist for Wencon ApS, an international maritime trading company

Are you a maritime technology nerd and are you also passionate about problem solving and great customer service, then you are the one we are looking for as a technical support specialist.

Wencon ApS is a strong and growth-oriented player on the global market for 2-component corrosion protection of ship parts, with customized products for the many operators in the maritime industry.

Your role

As a technical support specialist your primary task is to understand the customer's challenges remotely and with confidence advise and guide on the use of Wencon's products for an optimal result.

In addition you will be part of a team around product management, where your tasks will include:

• Ongoing testing and quality assurance of the products
• Testing of the market's other offerings of similar products
• Updating technical manuals and documentation

You are thus the unifying force that ensures Wencon's product program and user information are up-to-date and valued by demanding international customers, where high professionalism is at the center. You are visible in the organization and you lead when it comes to the usability of the products in daily life at sea.

Your background

You likely have a relevant maritime background and technical education as well as solid experience from a ship or shipyard with a specialization in repair and maintenance.

You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, and you thrive in an international environment, where your insight into people's differences and cultural backgrounds ensures a high level of professional guidance and advice and effective task execution.

Additionally, we would like you to have the following qualifications

• A positive worldview and an action-oriented way of working
• Has a strong eye for detail and works systematically and quality-conscious
• Strong communication skills in both Danish as well as English and possibly additional foreign languages
• Is digitally oriented and an effective IT user
