Apply for the position

Do you want to take responsibility for HVAC- and plumbing projects, where new solutions must work in existing buildings? At Sweco you lead the project team, advise the client and follow the project from the initial clarifications to handover.

You will become part of the Existing Building and Specialties division with more than 300 colleagues. We advise on buildings, technical installations and property development with a focus on renovating, improving and extending the life of the existing building stock.

About Renovation & Installations

In Renovation & Installations we work among others for Novo Nordisk, Radiometer, University of Copenhagen, Region Capital, DR, ATP Real Estate, Carlsberg Foundation and several municipalities. It provides a varied project portfolio with different buildings, technical challenges and client needs.

You will have colleagues with specialist knowledge within technical installations and access to sparring across Sweco's disciplines. We share knowledge and work together on solutions that take into account both the building, the users and future operation.

Your role

As a technical project manager you are responsible for the overall delivery, the project's finances and the agreements with the client. You lead the project team and develop and evaluate HVAC- and plumbing solutions in collaboration with your colleagues. The projects include technical renovation and advisory on installations in operating buildings, where the solutions must take into account both the existing conditions and the building's daily use.

  • develop and evaluate HVAC- and plumbing solutions based on the client's needs and the existing installations
  • lead the project team and coordinate deliveries across disciplines
  • manage the project's finances, monitor progress and handle changes along the way
  • be the client's contact person and advise on solutions and priorities
  • prepare offers and clarify the scope of the task, contract and basis of agreement
  • create good collaboration with customers, contractors and other stakeholders
  • plan solutions and execution with regard to the building's operation, users and maintenance

You work closely with the client throughout the project and maintain the ongoing dialogue about needs, decisions and next steps. You help maintain and develop the collaboration by following up on agreements and ensuring coherence in the consultancy.

You also contribute to the development of the department's services based on the needs and opportunities you encounter with customers.

Your experience and way of working

You have previously had responsibility for project economics and client dialogue and can independently drive a project through its various phases. You have a professional understanding of HVAC and VVS, which enables you to develop solutions yourself, assess technical choices and advise the client on their impact on the building's operation.

Your educational background could be engineer, marine engineer or technician. We place emphasis on your experience with installation technical projects and on your desire to develop both your professional knowledge and project management.

You create overview, follow agreements to the letter and tackle challenges before they slow the project. You listen to the client's needs and make technical questions understandable. At the same time you involve colleagues' knowledge and create clear frameworks for collaboration in the project team.

With us you get

You get a daily life with varied projects and the opportunity to develop both your project management and your technical expertise. You get a lot of freedom with responsibility and influence on solution choices, the planning of projects and the development of customer collaborations.

You have colleagues to spar with when you need to test an idea or assess a technical challenge. The tone is informal and characterized by respect and helpfulness.
