Temporary position as interventional radiographer

1 year temporary position as an interventional radiographer from December 1, 2026 or as agreed.

With us you will get the chance to try your hand at primarily neuro intervention, but also vascular intervention. It ranges from the acute thrombectomy to the planned treatment. You can either show what you already can do or learn a lot more. Your role will involve tasks with neuroradiology, angiointervention and thorax.

At Radiology Department OUH Odense we work in six teams. You will primarily be part of team 4 and 5, which consists of 23 dedicated radiographers who mainly work with intervention and operate a thorax room. We also participate in the radiological FAM on-call.

Since we are a university hospital and a training site for radiography students, you must be willing to actively participate in teaching and the education of students and colleagues. We work with some of the newest technology, and it is important to us that you keep yourself informed about the latest research within the field.

General about the Radiology Department The department’s activity level is high. We perform about 300,000 examinations per year, and we have close collaboration with both surgical and medical subspecialties. Our professional level is high, and the department handles most highly specialized functions nationally.

We focus on the working environment, and everyone has a responsibility to contribute to open, honest and respectful collaboration. We hold a joint Christmas lunch and have a tradition of participating in various fitness events such as the DHL relay and We Cycle to Work. We have a free fruit scheme and coffee, as well as access to very inexpensive fitness facilities and a massage scheme.

Medically, the department is specialized in eight sections

Angio-Thorax Section, Neuroradiology Section, Abdominal Radiology including UL Section, Oncologic Radiology Section, Musculoskeletal Section, Pediatric Radiology, Mammography Section and Acute Trauma Radiology.

Radiographers are specialized in six teams

MR, CT and abdominal intervention, musculoskeletal and pediatric, as well as ultrasound, vascular intervention, neurointervention, mammography.

Employment Region of Southern Denmark uses a three-month probationary period, and employment will be in accordance with the collective agreement. We will obtain a child protection certificate.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the Health Cartel – collective agreement 32.17.1. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include possibly negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
