The Damgården Daycare Institution is looking for 2 pedagogues for the nursery

Educator for permanent position in Daycare Southeast, Damgården Daycare Center.

In Damgården Daycare Center, Daycare Southeast, we have been allocated additional resources and therefore seek 2 educators for permanent 37-hour-per-week positions with start date 01.12.2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. These positions are intended for the infant/toddler group.

In the Daycare Center we have a preschool department, normed for 90 children, and an infant/toddler group, normed for 60 children.

The Daycare Center is part of Daycare Southeast, which comprises 11 institutions.

We place high value on presence, care, play at child height, good relationships and community. We continually work with our practice and focus on creating safe learning and development opportunities for the children.

In addition, Damgården has been allocated 4 Focus Places, which means that the Daycare Center combines children in general places and focus places. The children are in child communities across general and focus places, but with extended possibilities to withdraw from the large community and establish smaller child communities. The focus places are established in the preschool as part of the rooms.

In Damgården, pedagogy is founded on ICDP, just as there is a strong focus on collectively establishing various inspiring learning environments for children within all curriculum themes.

Moreover, we are working to implement the new Daycare Act and the new strengthened curriculum.

At Damgården we are committed to creating recognizability for the children through fixed routines supported by pictograms. In the infant/toddler section we also use baby signs to support spoken language and to give the children the opportunity to communicate with signs.

Furthermore, we are focused on working with small learning groups, where we follow the children's cues and create presence and security for the individual, which is in line with our engagement in and participation in the Reggio Emilia network.

If you are keen to work with children aged 0-6 years and you have high pedagogical professionalism, are robust, can take responsibility and are good at parent collaboration, you will fit into our staff group.
