As an employee at Stefanshjemmet it is important to us that you are professionally proud, engaged and have a good heart and a view of humanity that aligns with Stefanshjemmet's values. The residents' self-determination and dignity are of great importance to us.

Daily life offers many exciting professional challenges and ethical dilemmas, good colleagues, a good working environment and high spirits.

Stefanshjemmet is a housing and activity offering for people with acquired brain injury and/or severe physical disabilities.

There are 10 residents in the unit, and they have an acquired brain injury. In the unit there are about 15 permanent staff with different backgrounds and professional skills to provide care, support and activities for the residents under the Social Services Act.

At Stefanshjemmet we value the multidisciplinary environment and have about 130 employees. The main groups of staff consist of SOSU assistants, social educators, and occupational- and physiotherapists.

Work in the departments is based on the residents' needs and possibilities and we increasingly work with the KRAP model's appreciative and resource-oriented approach, as well as our neuro-pedagogical approach, together with values and ethics.

All staff participate in care tasks, housing support and activities for the residents and contribute to the common tasks with their respective professional backgrounds. We are seeking a dedicated SOSU assistant who wants to take part in the care, support and activities for the residents. We work on developing the department both mono-disciplinary and interdisciplinary, so competencies and knowledge are used in the best possible way.

We have established a health-care network at Stefanshjemmet, where we work with mono-disciplinary content and help each other strengthen our competencies. In HG1 there are two additional SOSU assistants.

If you are employed with us, an introduction program will be prepared for you as part of your training in the house.

We look forward to receiving your application and hope you can see yourself in the tasks outlined above.

If you want to know more you are welcome to contact the principal/manager Tina Rudebeck Holm at [email protected] or phone number 4185 7871
