Barnehuset Møllehuset is an integrated institution in Kirke Sonnerup, we are normed for 24 toddlers in two rooms, and 45 preschool children in 3 rooms.

At Møllehuset you will be met by an engaged group of colleagues. We value presence and togetherness with children, and we are motivated by pedagogical discussions and we all have many good ideas about how we work with the core task. We place great importance on everyone feeling well, both children and adults. We provide closeness and room, and you will experience that your colleagues take responsibility and want the pedagogical work.

We have a group of parents who want to be involved, informed about, and support daily life at Møllehuset.

As a pedagogical assistant you will help to set the framework for the continued development of Møllehuset together with your colleagues. The house is characterized by a strong sense of community with the children at the center.

We love to create space for play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

We are looking for a present adult who can inspire and further develop our focus on children's development, well-being, learning and formation.

We are passionate about creating a meaningful everyday life for our toddlers and preschool children.

We aim to create a healthy and developing learning environment, where we inspire each other and translate goals into practice.

You would work in the toddler group in a wonderfully lovely room with a pedagogue and a assistant by your side. In the toddler group we prioritize strong cross-room collaboration; it’s about our children and our nursery. Presence, security and care are at the center and we value small moments where relationships, curiosity and development are allowed to grow.

About you

• You are empathetic and affirming in your dealings with others.
• You are a team player who values collaboration and dialogue.
• You are creatively minded and would like to contribute to developing our nursery.
• You may have experience with pedagogical work with children aged 0-6.
• You will contribute to a coherent thread in the pedagogical work, and be active in creating a stable everyday life that helps create a safe child and work environment.
• You should be good at seeing opportunities and making things happen
• You are positively oriented towards changes and see them as opportunities rather than challenges.
• Be open to working both in the toddler and preschool – you are employed for the house.

About us

Møllehuset has a lovely large playground with good opportunities for physical activity. We are outdoors every day and love to use nature.

In addition, we gladly make use of the local area, which includes a nice forest within walking distance, and we love to go on trips outside the house.

Our opening hours are; Monday to Thursday 6:00 – 16:45 and Friday 6:30 – 16:00.

Salary and employment

The dream scenario would be that you could start on November 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. You will be employed according to the applicable collective agreement and paid according to qualifications.

The position is in the preschool and as a rule the position is 37 hours.
