About the job
Are you an experienced nurse who loves professional challenges, independent decision-making and a daily life where two days rarely look the same? And would you like to combine clinical immersion with nursing in citizens' own homes and occasionally take on responsibility for the emergency phone? Then we may have the job you have been looking for!
The Home Care in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality is seeking an experienced nurse for an exciting hybrid position, where you will have the opportunity to bring your full professional expertise into play.
You get
- two fixed days per week in our nursing clinic,
- work as a visiting district nurse,
- and occasionally take on responsibility for the emergency phone.
It will give you a varied workday with both professional depth, independent clinical assessments, complex citizen journeys and acute issues where your professional overview and ability to find good solutions make a difference.
Here you do not have to choose between the clinic's fixed framework and the unpredictable daily life with citizens. You get both – spiced with the acute assessments that add another dimension to your work.
We offer you
- not just a job in home care, but a fantastic position where you can use your experience, develop your professional competencies and have influence on the nursing we provide.
The special thing about this particular position
We know that skilled nurses have many options. Therefore, we want to tell you what makes this position special.
You get variation without having to choose one professional track
- you get two fixed days in the clinic and the rest of the time as a visiting nurse
- you get the opportunity to work with different types of nursing and citizen pathways.
- you get both continuity, professional depth and a daily life where new problems challenge your clinical experience.
You get the opportunity to use your clinical judgment.
When you are with citizens or responsible for the emergency phone, you will need to observe, assess, prioritise and act. You will be able to actively use your experience and contribute to citizens receiving the right help at the right time.
You get freedom and influence over your working day.
We work with self-planning in nursing because we want to create good conditions for both professional quality and a well-functioning workday. We believe that employees who have influence and responsibility have good prerequisites for succeeding in their work.
You become part of a professional community.
You are not alone with professional challenges. You will have colleagues to consult with and a close collaboration with your supervisor and our two development nurses. Together we work to develop nursing and strengthen the professional competences across the entire home care service.
You get the opportunity to leave your mark on nursing.
We are in the process of developing our practice with fixed teams and holistic care. Here there is a need for nurses who want to contribute with experience, professional perspectives and new ideas.
And you will also get a workplace where we prioritise a respectful tone, well-being and good collegiality.
A daily life with both professional depth and professional challenges.
In the Nursing Clinic you get a fixed base two days a week. Here you have the opportunity to work with nursing in a framework that allows for professional depth and continuity in citizens' journeys.
As a visiting nurse, you come close to citizens' everyday lives. You meet people with different needs and problems, where your professional knowledge is decisive to assess the situation, plan the intervention and follow up on progress.
The Emergency Phone.
Occasionally you will also be responsible for the emergency phone. Here your ability to listen, create overview and make professional assessments is important when inquiries must be evaluated and the right intervention found.
You will among other things work with
- Complex and acute nursing tasks.
- Clinical observations, assessments and decisions.
- Rehabilitative nursing focusing on the citizen's resources and independence.
- Medication management and dosage dispensing.
- Collaboration with citizens, relatives and other health professionals.
- Professional sparring and competency development across professional groups.
Become a fixed part of Home Care Baunehøj's nursing – where we lift professionalism together
We are seven home care units with social and health care helpers, social and health care assistants and nurses. We work closely across professional groups and focus on creating coherent pathways based on the individual citizen's needs.
In Baunehøj you will participate in cross-disciplinary meetings, psychiatric meetings and triage meetings. Here we share knowledge, discuss professional issues and find solutions together.
You will also have close cooperation with your supervisor and our two development nurses, who contribute to supporting professional development.
We are committed to translating the intentions of the Elderly Act into practice, where fixed teams, holistic care and collaboration around the citizen play a central role.
We want to develop nursing together with the employees – and we want your perspectives included.

- Work rehabilitatively and base your approach on the citizen's resources and possibilities.
- See relatives as important collaborators.
- Are keen to share your knowledge and contribute to colleagues' professional development.
- Are responsible, flexible, solution-oriented and good at collaborating.
