About the job

Start your career in the City of Copenhagen – Denmark's largest workplace.

Would you like to train as a property service technician, and learn how to maintain and care for buildings, heating systems and outdoor areas as well as work with the environment, climate and administration? Do you want to develop your professional, social and personal competences? Then you may be one of our new property service technician apprentices with employment from 4 January 2027.

The training lasts about two years and nine months, and alternates between school and apprenticeship. You will be attached to BUF Teknik og Ejendomsservice, where you will have your daily activities, while the school portion will take place at NEXT Glostrup.

Placement

BUF Teknik og Ejendomsservice consists of about 200 groundsmen distributed across seven teams. Each team has a team leader who, in collaboration with the groundsmen, ensures good and efficient task execution for the benefit of the users of the locations. We service residential care facilities, nurseries, kindergartens, after-school care and schools – in total about 400 addresses. Our task is to ensure that buildings and outdoor areas are well maintained, functional and inviting for the people who use them in daily life.

We emphasise good collaboration, good service and a daily life where tasks are solved in a joint effort.

With us you become part of a working community where professionalism, responsibility and helpfulness are important values. We prioritise good dialogue, a flexible approach to tasks and a good working environment with room for professional sparring and good collegiality.

We offer

  • a dynamic workplace with good colleagues and many challenges
  • a versatile education where you can develop yourself both personally and professionally, and where you have the opportunity to influence your own training pathway
  • opportunity for exciting, creative solutions within maintenance of building stock and outdoor areas
  • professionally skilled colleagues who provide competent guidance
  • an informal tone of voice marked by humor and mutual respect
  • plenty of fresh air and a high level of activity, as we often work outdoors.

We expect that you

  • have proof of completing the qualifying introductory course at a technical college
  • can manage to obtain a tractor license (driving license) before the first school period of the main course
  • are eager to do practical work
  • are energetic, independent and eager to learn
  • are proactive and engaged in your education and take responsibility for your own learning
  • are open, outgoing and have good collaborative skills
  • have technical aptitude
  • can use relevant IT systems at user level.

Please note that it is a requirement that you have completed the qualifying introductory course within the property service technician subject at a technical college.
